Our stay was from 12.July to 22nd July 2026
Homely Cottage, with good appliences, Great Bed, and all you need for a Good stay…Great ( Quiet ) location.
We were greeted with a delicious Apple Pie, and daily fleshly laid eggs.. The nice Cucumbers, Eggplant, and Tomato Soup were a great surprise
WE WILL BE BACK to this beautiful Island -over and out 24th July 2026

Wonderful hostess and gentleman, luxury apartment (Tulp) fully equipped, private terrace with lots of sun.
Enjoyed the sunrise and sunset, the horses and the many bird concerts.
Fresh eggs every day and also freshly cut asparagus, was delicious!

You will not be short of anything at the Boerderie at Marian & Danny. Both B&Bs were recently built by Danny himself in a former barn on the farm. Very tasteful interior and fully equipped (also for city dwellers). The farm is also beautifully wide and there are horses everywhere on the surrounding land. The breakfast was also delicious. Marian is a great hostess and very friendly and open. We’ll be back for sure.

Idyllic holiday in the Klaproos – a perfect escape!
I recently had a stay in the beautiful apartment “de Klaproos” and can’t help but rave about my experience. This place is a true oasis of peace and space, perfect for escaping from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the hostess and host (Marian and Danny), who gave us a warm welcome. We immediately felt at home thanks to their friendly attitude and genuine hospitality.
The apartment was spotless and everything seemed new and stylishly decorated. The attention to detail was impeccable, adding to a sense of comfort and luxury. The interior had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, which made us feel right at home.
One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast served each morning. Freshly baked bread, free-range eggs from the chickens in the yard, and various local products made for a great start to the day. The presence of the chickens on the property was not only a nice extra, but also provided an authentic farm experience.
The BNB’s location is ideal for exploring the area. The picturesque town of Zierikzee, with its historic town center, is only a short distance away and offers numerous sights and cozy restaurants. Moreover, the beach is easy to reach, making it possible to enjoy both culture and nature during a stay at De Klaproos.
In short, our stay in the apartment “de Klaproos” was an unforgettable experience. The combination of peace, space, delicious food and the attentive hospitality of the hostess and host makes this BNB an absolute must. We can’t wait to return for another relaxing and rejuvenating getaway!

A very tastefully decorated B&B from Marian and Danny. When you open the door you will meet the cosiness and if you turn around before you go inside, you immediately get the feeling of freedom, a private terrace with a ‘view’ of the farmyard, greenhouse, vegetable garden and horse pasture .
Welcome to the Farm!
For us, this visit was already very special. We now had a view of our previous home. Lived for so many years and now a guest at Hanenweg no. 9 in Schuddebeurs.
How special is that?
Great to be ‘home’ again and you made that possible Marian, for which many thanks. After a week at the Boerderie and taking care of the chickens, we went home to Drenthe.
We will definitely come back again, because the Schouwen-Duivelandse ‘Boerderie’ is a unique oasis in Schuddebeurs, where you want to be!

What a party, everything was perfect. The location, the decor, the bed, the breakfast and a very warm welcome. We had nice weather so we could enjoy the sun, the garden and the horses outside on the private terrace. We have already seen quite a bit of our country, but not so much in Zeeland. It was really beautiful and this location is really a winner. We will be back here 🌸💮🌸 Ad and Edith

Great b&b on a beautiful, spacious farm. The apartment is spacious, clean and equipped with everything. We went with our 2 year old son. He had the time of his life on the farm, between the horses and the chickens! We felt completely at home and that was certainly thanks to the lovely owners and in particular Marian. She does everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible and is very sweet and hospitable. The breakfast is delicious with many fresh products from the garden. We stayed at the farm for a weekend and that was actually much too short! We will definitely come back.

An overnight stay in the tent on site was a lovely experience. A quiet place amidst farmlands, wild flowers and a small orchard. Spacious 6 pers. tent with table, chairs and electricity. Sanitary fine. The breakfast was top notch with various types of sandwiches and spreads, a delicious dessert, coffee, tea, juice, farm-fresh eggs and a very tasty homemade jam. The hostess and hostess are very friendly and do their utmost to give us a pleasant stay. In short, a fantastic place to relax, away from the crowds and enjoy the surroundings.

A very nice place to spend a few days. A beautiful location, complete B&B. Everything fits together and you lack nothing. It has been thought through and I think a lot of love has been put into it. Wake up to sounds of horses and sheep. An extensive breakfast if you wish, with products from our own garden. (Vegetables, herbs, fruit, eggs and homemade jam) Delicious!
Marian the hostess is happy to help make your stay perfect. We have felt very welcome!
Peace and space and really enjoy the wide Zeeland.

What a fantastic experience here at the Boederie!
This is coming home in a beautiful environment !!
Both inside the B&B and outside!
It is in one word fantastic!
Everything is so beautifully finished and super decorated! Wake up with a view of the horses from your bed!
Private terrace surrounded by a beautiful flower border.
We are currently staying here and will unfortunately be going home on Monday, but would like to live here!
Everything is in this beautiful B&B! Oven, induction hob, dishwasher you name it! Blissful bed where we sleep wonderfully.
The warm welcome with a bolus cake, we immediately felt so welcome!
Flowers in and around the house love radiates from this B&B located in a beautiful setting.
Own vegetable garden where they grow the most delicious ingredients for a good meal!
Chickens that walk around and produce the tastiest eggs.
Our compliments therefore go to the wonderful sweet and caring hostess Marjan and host Danny!
We are very spoiled and pampered .
That will be rehab next week!
We fell in love from the first moment and will definitely come back as soon as possible!

What a wonderful experience I had at this B&B! The B&B is in a beautiful location: you wake up with a view of the countryside and the horses. A private terrace with complete privacy. In addition, everything is very clean and the owner Marian is very hospitable! I will go there again soon.

Natuur, rust en ruimte:Fijne landelijke omgeving met ook veel bomen. Genoeg vogels te bekijken, zoals groene spechten en verschillende soorten roofvogels. Op veel akkers zijn kruiden-/bloemstroken aangebracht.

Heerlijk huisje en zeer gastvrij ontvangst! Alles in deze nieuwe b&b is goed verzorgd, fris en van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijk bed en voldoende opbergruimte voor kleding en toiletartikelen. Verrukkelijk uitgebreid ontbijt met producten uit de moestuin en verse eitjes van de kippen. Marian en Danny zorgen ervoor dat het je aan niks ontbreekt. Wij kunnen een verblijf op de boerderie zeer aanbevelen.
